ThinkUp! is a digital cognitive assessment and personalized practice system for pre-adolescent children in the form of a digital game of creative content, for mobile devices, supported by an Augmented Reality experience. The game features Real Time Strategy gameplay with built-in cognitive exercises in a gamified format.
The project ThinkUp! aims:
- to test and validate the hypothesis that cognitive “mini games,” developed by the EU-funded project FocusLocus, can be used as detection tools for ADHD symptoms in the general child population;
- to test the innovative integrated digital game ReeFocus for its effective assessment and personalized training of targeted cognitive skills related to cognitive development, learning, regulation and control of behavior and emotion as well as adaptation, cooperation and socialization, and
- to commercialize the “ThinkUp Platform!” which consists of (a) the cognitive mini games, (b) the digital game ReeFocus, and (c) the ThinkUp! online registration system, comprehensive data telemetry, and remote user management.
